01/04/2020 – COMMUNICATION

We recognise that our service can make a difference in such a critical moment. Therefore, in order to minimise disruption in the transportation sector due to the lack of tyres, we’ve chosen to keep our Rovereto’s warehouse working, though with a lower level of activity. Thanks to the collaboration of our partners and to the drivers and freight forwarders day-to-day work, also the logistics remain operational.

The Tyre and Services division is ready to support you and to make every effort to meet your needs. Do not hesitate to reach for us through our website or via your usual contacts, that are available even if in “smart working”.

27/03/2020 – PRESS RELEASE

MARANGONI RETREADING SYSTEMS IS GETTING READY TO SERVE THE MARKET THROUGH THE FOREIGN PLANTS

The company is awaiting the response from the responsible authorities on the necessity of stopping the production in Ferentino.

Marangoni Retreading Systems announces that is being organised, on a precautionary basis, to keep serving the market taking advantage of its international footprint and, in particular, of the plant located in Henstedt-Ulzburg, Germany.

Having taken note of the government measures issued with the Italian Prime Ministerial Decree of the 25th March 2020, the company has asked the responsible authorities by virtue of the need of its products in order to ensure continuity of essential activities, specifically, those of the transportation sector.

In order to prevent any problems due to the eventual suspension of the Italian production’s activities, Marangoni already started organizing its plant in Henstedt-Ulzburg (Germany) to serve all its European customers.

23/03/2020 – Message from the president

As the Coronavirus continues to spread, our thoughts go out to anyone who has been affected by this emergency and, in particular, to all the healthcare workers who put themselves on the front lines, saving lives and caring for the sick. We hope that you, your family and loved ones are safe and well, and are taking the necessary precautions to protect yourselves and each other from the contagion.

In order to face the epidemic emergency, in the late evening of Saturday 21 March, the Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte announced new restrictive measures, that took effect with Sunday’s 22 March 2020 Prime Ministerial Decree. According to these new procedures, Marangoni’s activities in Italy are among the strategical ones tied to primary needs. Therefore we confirm that we’ll continue the production and provision of services according to our schedule, respecting the measures provided by the responsible authorities and complying with the self-regulatory framework.

During this emergency, essential activities such as – for instance – the transport of food and medicines, the collection of waste or the local public transport, have become even more fundamental.

As a leader in the retreading business, we have a great responsibility: to do our part to provide the transportation sector with the needed spare truck tyres. Furthermore, through our subsidiary Fedi Gomme, an Italian pioneer in full-service tyre management for goods and people transportation fleets, we’re proud to serve directly many carriers throughout Italy.

Stay safe, take care of each other and, as always, thank you for your business.

The President
Vittorio Marangoni

12/03/2020 – UPDATE

Our company’s activities in Italy are fundamental to support essential services such as goods and people transportation. For this reason, despite the complexity of a situation that is changing all the time, we’re not stopping and we’re acting with commitment and determination to continue to produce, as permitted by yesterday’s Italian Prime Ministerial Decree.

We’ll do our best to continue to satisfy our customers’ needs while respecting the measures provided by the responsible Authorities and complying with the framework of the more stringent measures issued by the Italian Government.

In order to protect as much as possible the workers’ health, we have arranged the “smart/agile working” for all the staff that can operate remotely.

Let us remind you once again that your ordinary contacts remain available through the usual communication channels.

Thank you for your attention.

10/03/2020 –  communication

With reference to the COVID-19 situation and the associated events taking place in Italy, we wish to inform you that the productive and logistic activities are running smoothly in all our plants.

We are therefore able to receive and process the orders while adopting all the necessary procedures to protect the workers’ health. In particular, our company is taking all the actions to be consistent with the measures provided by the responsible Authorities.

The Italian government explained that transporting goods falls under the “proven working activities” not subject to limitations of movement. Therefore, the drivers are continuing to deliver and/or withdraw the goods.

The production personnel and the employees can get to work without any limitation for these reasons as well.

On our premises, all the visitors and drivers are asked, first of all, to address themselves to the reception, and then, to comply with the behavioural norms that will be communicated.

We thank everyone for the collaboration and we point out that your ordinary contacts remain available through the usual communication channels.
